As I prepare to film in Atlanta, I was drawn to some pictures I took at Hartsfield-Jackon Atlanta International Airport in December 2017. The pictures were part of an exhibition inside the terminal which wasn’t accessible unless you were travelling…Although I was extremely appreciative, it also pained me to witness such a wondrous and undoubtedly seriously passionate and painstakingly meticulous display, yet no one was looking at it because they were too busy trying to catch their flights…well, that’s what I’d like to think.

ATL2

I stood there, reading and taking pictures and feeling very sad. I have not edited them, hoping you can click them and enlarge to read the text. They’re all self-explanatory.

ATL3

BUT Then I read this week that Atlanta Airport was offering flight ATL1234 to the fictional East African nation Wakanda, in which the movie Black Panther is set.

And everyone is paying attention to that!
