That’s the quote chosen by Leroy Logan MBE who is a guest on my show twice this April! His story is so heartfelt and hearing it I’m begging for change…

Interviewing Leroy took me back on a trip down ‘Memory Lane…”

His father was brutally beaten by police, but instead of hating the police, he became an officer himself when he joined the Met police in 1983. Now a film about Leroy Logan’s life has been captured on film in the installment of Steve McQueen’s award-winning series, Small Axe “Red, White & Blue”. The series stars Star Wars actor John Boyega playing a young Leroy Logan. Boyega received a Golden Globe for his performance.

Join in the conversation to hear more about this tale of fighting for racial justice and overcoming battles.
