My guest this week is Victoria Rose Viren who grew up in Anaheim, California, with a passion for dancing. She trained specifically in classical ballet, a training which she said has helped her to face and overcome challenges which have shaped her into who she is today.

When she was just 13, she was diagnosed with a brain tumour in her cerebellum. Due to its location, it affected her balance significantly and Victoria was told she might never walk again. But, thanks to a positive attitude, she performed as Clara in The Nutcracker only three months after surgery – an achievement which astounded her doctors.
