It made my day to see Google’s doodle honouring Saint Lucia’s economist and professor, Sir William Arthur Lewis. He was awarded with the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics on this day in 1979.

Dame Pearlette Louisy, for continuing celebrating the excellence of Saint Lucia’s two Nobel Laureates – Sir William Arthur Lewis – Economics. (1979) and Sir Derek Alton Walcott – Literature (1992)
