Alison Knowles was a guest on The Dolor Factor earlier this year and as I followed her, I saw many developments. As we are going into the New Year, I think she is a prime example of what can be achieved in a year, once the work is done – something Iyanla Vanzant and I spoke about recently.

Ali has her own private therapeutic practice in Cambridgeshire, England, where she works with young and senior people, helping them to remove limiting beliefs, fears and phobias, and negative emotions.

It became apparent to Ali that there wasn’t a suitable therapeutic model for children that helps them to express their emotions as so the Ollie Concept was born. It is a simplistic model for children and their families to empower communication. Ollie allows children to take an active role in working through their issues and finding positive empowerment helping them to be the best version of themselves that they can be.

Ollie now has a school and Ali joined me this week to discuss how we can all help our children tell us what’s on their minds.

The Dolor Factor with Alison Knowles, aired on Colourful Radio, Thursday 7 DecemberĀ and is now available on podcast.
