If you’re in Washington, DC, you’re missing out if you don’t join the Colour of Music Festival and the Duke Ellington School of the Arts as they showcase the Colour of Music Virtuosi (all-female) Chamber Orchestra, which highlights the contributions of black female composers and presented in honor of Ellington’s Co-Founder, Peggy Cooper Cafritz.
