I'm not sure what takes longer. When it's time to make a decision, based on many uncomfortable factors, do you sometimes delay facing how you feel? I wouldn't be surprised if you did. If we went that second longer to explain to ourselves how we feel about the situation, it may make it easier to make up our minds.

It's very disappointing when you trust and it is not reciprocated. However, if we try to learn from the experience in such a way that we don't penalise the people who are trustworthy, we can then cherish those who are on our side.
