Our guest this week was Joanne Blake, and she talks us through her journey of how she created her product – the Swimscarf. Swimscarf is a functional and fashionable new swimming cap.

Joanne’s Story

Joanne is a single mother of two children with her youngest being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. The difficulties of her family life caused her to have high blood pressure; her doctor recommended swimming to lower it, however she usually avoided swimming because of the agonising routine of washing and caring for her hair after a swim. Her hair always got wet using the traditional swim cap. Thus, Swimscarf was created.
