Joseph Marselle is well known for his role “Geoffrey” in the US sitcom “Fresh Prince of Bel Air.”  Joseph was born in St Lucia but moved to the UK when he was nine years old. He studied theatre and science at college, then took courses in speech and dance.

As a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, he appeared in productions of Othello and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He has also appeared often on British television and in feature films and he serves on the board of the Globe Theatre in London, where he featured in a nationwide production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing.

Delia caught up with Geoffrey at home in St Lucia where he was performing and training aspiring actors as part of St Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival 2016 – and he gave some wise words for actors; wherever they are…
