I have this thing about washrooms. Here's the "Ladies" at The Savoy London just off the lobby.

The Savoy: Chicken and dumpling soup. Lamb, potato gratin and eggplant and other vegetables. Cauliflower cheese bake. All absolutely delicious!

I celebrated International Women's Day here. The weather was cold but I was in the company of women who took the time out to tell each other how wonderful we were. When we stepped out into the cold of the night, there was an inner warmth that 2 degrees couldn't kill.

When I'm in the UK I don't mind working out that little bit extra so I can enjoy steak and ale puddings and lasagne. During my October trip to New York I decided to take pictures of washrooms I liked. What do you think of this one at Gramercy Tavern restaurant? One a scale of 1-5, 5 being the highest rating, how would you score it?

What a spectacular view from my suite at the wonderful LEED Platinum certification Bardessono hotel. They state, "While we love our guests, we put the needs of the environment first."
