Food is a massive guilty pleasure of mine. I really love reading menus and then choosing the foods and recipes that seems unusual, just so I can taste flavours I wouldn’t have thought would work.
I also like choosing foods I love to see how the chef cooks it and to see if I can enhance the way I make it.
Above all, I like to see how the meals are arranged and how they are served. This has got to be one of my favourite Room Service breakfasts, courtesy of Royal Mansour in Marrakesh. I remember telling myself I couldn’t and wouldn’t possibly eat it all, but I didn’t want to send any of it back… So I ate it all and skipped lunch.
On Delia’s Escapades I’ll share a menu or two and describe the taste and ambience, and anything interesting I think you should know.
